WHAT: Witness for Life
WHEN: Every First Saturday of the month
TIME: 8:00 am - 11:00am
WHERE: Old St. Patrick's Cathedral, 263 Mulberry Street (enter on Mott Street).  Take 6 train to Bleecker Street and walk east.   
DETAILS:
Join NYC young adults and the Sisters of Life on a new venture as we seek to assist pregnant women and witness for life on the front lines.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass begins our day in beautiful Old St. Patrick's Cathedral (the Sisters of Life will provide a Schola), Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament follows, and people can either remain in the Church to adore our Lord or attend the rosary procession to the clinic. 

 

 

WHAT: Catholic Underground
WHEN: Every First Saturday of the Month
TIME: 7:30 pm-10pm
WHERE: Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 230 East 90th Street, NY, NY 10128.  212-289-01742.       
DETAILS: The Catholic Underground is a monthly get-together for all young Catholic culture mavens.  The evening consists of a Holy Hour, followed by a concert by a guest artist in the church hall.  For more details, as well as maps and updates, just visit www.catholicunderground.net.

 

WHAT: Evening of Reflection for Men and Women
WHEN: Every 2nd Thursday of the month
TIME: 6:15 pm - 9:15 pm
WHERE: Church of Holy Innocents, 128 West 37th Street, between Broadway and 7th Avenue.  Take N, R, Q, 1,2,3,B,D,F train to 34th Street/Penn Station.   
DETAILS:
Join other Catholic men and women for an evening of fellowship, reflection and Mass.  The evening begins with a pizza dinner in the rectory, followed by directed meditation and personal prayer in the Church at 7:15pm, and then by Mass at 8:30pm.  Confessions will be made available.  To rsvp, please email [email protected] or call at 914-244-3685.  Suggested free will offering to cover the expenses of dinner.  This event is sponsored by the Legionaries of Christ. 

 

WHAT: Spirit and Truth Young Adult Meeting
WHEN: Every 4th Thursday of the Month
TIME: 7:00 pm - 10:00pm

St. John the Baptist Church 3026 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ On JFK Blvd. between Van Winklw Ave. & St. Pauls Ave.  Directions from NJ Transit: Path- to Journal Square; Exit Path Station at Journal Square, Turn right on to JFK, Go three blocks and Turn right just before the church.  The Chapel is behind the church entrance is just before the garages.

There will be dinner in the hall downstairs after Mass (donations to help defray the cost will be gratefully accepted!) and finally a Holy Hour beginning at about 7:15, which will include the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Join others every Wednesday for a Holy Hour of prayer and silent reflection.  This Holy Hour is led by the Dominican Friars of St Vincent Ferrer Church.
